At the beginning of June of this year, the founder and CEO of DMP, Suzanne Lam, approached D-username and came up with the idea of having two of the geniuses of humanity sing a small part of TikTok’s song Rolllie, which is quite fitting since this clip is about the contrasts and contradictions of life. Having two photos / stills moving and acting like two real humans is creatively appropriate and technically innovative. The result of such work is incredible because the audience, for the very first time, sees how Da Vinci and Beethoven could have sung if they had been alive today. To make the clip possible D-username uses its latest Creative Reality ™ technology: Group Stitchback, the ability to automatically stitch multiple animated faces into one picture that came to life.
TikTok Rollie is a word game that has multiple meanings. First, it could mean showing off a Rollie on TikTok, the social app. It could also mean a fake Rollie because a real Rollie rolls around and doesn’t tick. Third, it could mean indoor / outdoor, as the ticking sounds come from inside a watch, while a Rollie is known for its luxury brand name. Fourth, it could mean new / old. While the MV’s main character had a real eye-opener at the end, will we, the audience, have a chance to see ours when our aha moment comes?
