Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, E-40 and Too $ hort Drop debut on Mount Westmore “Big Subwoofer” track

Mount Westmore – a new rap supergroup made up of Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, E-40 and Too $ hort – released their first single “Big Subwoofer”, along with a corresponding music video. The visual, directed by Jesse Wellens and Sam Macaroni, shows the West Coast rappers soar into space and perform from an alien planet.

“Big Subwoofer” will land on the next Def Jam compilation project, Snoop Dogg presents the algorithm, which should feature artists from the record label’s “past, present and future”.

“There is so much talent on this record, so many styles of music, it breaks the algorithm,” Snoop Dogg said in a statement. “Right now the algorithm is telling us you have to rap that way, you have to sound that way, but they’re not telling you how it’s supposed to feel. My algorithm will give you a feeling, not a sound.

Snoop Dogg joined Def Jam Recordings in June as Senior Strategic Advisor, a role in which his primary focus is “to help artists and give them love, wisdom, guidance and understanding, to teach them a few tricks that I learned in the game – to diversify their portfolios to become superstars, ”according to the rapper.

Additionally, the NFL revealed last month that Snoop Dogg will be performing alongside Dr Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar for the first time at the Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show on February 13, 2022.

In case you missed it, Young Thug shared that he and Mac Miller recorded “Day Before” the day before Miller died.
