Although Kinstler didn’t post anything on her feed about the song, she took Allen’s comments to say, “Grateful to be working with all of you!!” next to a praying hand emoji.

Bedell, the track’s co-writer and producer, also shared a video teasing the collaboration earlier today.

“When you sleep but Jimmie Allen and Grace Kinstler need you in the studio,” the caption reads as Bedell pretends to wake up from a restful sleep. He then runs through the halls of his house to the basement where the recording studio is located.

“That’s why I love the Sunset Marquis in LA,” the caption reads as he enters the “famous Nightbird Studios,” where he sees Allen and Kinstler singing in separate recording booths.

The clip ends with Allen saying “We’re here”, as Kinstler is seen in the sound booth recording her verses and ad libs on the chorus.

Although it is unknown how the pair officially met, it could have been during season 19 of american idol when Allen starred alongside Cecil Ray and Alanis Sophia as their celebrity duo partner.

Kinstler, who moved to Los Angeles after Idol to pursue her career, worked on new music with Alessia Cara’s team. Throughout the process, Kinstler shared snippets of new songs on TikTok in addition to a soaring cover of popular songs.

Allen recently released his new album Tulip Drive and is currently gearing up to hit the road with Carrie Underwood for the Denim & Rhinestones Tour, which kicks off in October.

The Delaware native, who also appears on Idol during Season 10 where he finished in the Top 40, enjoys helping out Idol alumni. He served as a mentor on Season 20 and recently guest starred Idol winner Noah Thompson and HunterGirl will use his CMA Fest stage time to perform their first singles.
