The singer had been accused by a woman of raping her and treating her to kill her, however, a court ruled that the case could not be continued at this time.
According to Fork, the judge ruled that the allegations made in the trial were “not sufficient to invoke the deferred discovery rule.”
The woman involved in the affair, known only as Jane Doe, started dating Manson in 2011.
She now has 20 days to amend her lawsuit.
Manson, 52, also faces three other lawsuits, with a former aide suing the singer in court over allegations of sexual assault, bodily harm and harassment.
In April, actress Esmé Bianco also sued Manson for sexual assault and sexual violence, while in June, model Ashley Morgan Smithline brought him to justice on allegations of sexual assault, sexual violence, illegal imprisonment and intentional emotional suffering.
In an Instagram post, he said: “Obviously my art and my life have long been controversial magnets, but these recent claims about me are horrendous distortions of reality.
“My intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with like-minded partners. No matter how – and why – others now choose to distort the past, it’s the truth.”
Wood, 34, said the singer – whose biggest hit was a cover of Soft Cell’s “Tainted Love” – was a “dangerous man.”
She said, “He started treating me when I was a teenager and abused me horribly for years. I was brainwashed and manipulated into submission.
“I ended up living in fear of reprisals, slander or blackmail.
“I am here to expose this dangerous man and call on the many industries that enabled him before he ruined other lives.
“I am alongside the many victims who are no longer silent.”
Following the allegations, Manson’s label Loma Vista Records announced that he had severed ties with him.
In a statement to Hollywood journalist, the record company said: “In light of today’s troubling allegations from Evan Rachel Wood and other women naming Marilyn Manson as their attacker, Loma Vista will stop promoting her current album, effective immediately.
“Due to these worrying developments, we have also decided not to work with Marilyn Manson on future projects.”
