Elm Street in Sallisaw was lined with vintage and special interest cars during the Sallisaw Diamond Daze Festival on Saturday.

The recently completed stage at Choctaw and Oak streets featured a number of local bands throughout the two day Sallisaw Diamond Daze Festival.

The Sallisaws Middle School Jazz Band performed at Pocket Park on Saturday during Diamond Daze.

Getting ready for the cornhole competition and the competition was fierce.

Runners and walkers line up at the start of the Diamond Daze Half Marathon, 5K and Fun Run.

The three young women in the center of the photo were the winners of the Sing Sallisaw contest at the Diamond Daze Festival. From left to right, they are Katie Bell, third place; Brittany Hollis, second place; and Breezy Lovell, first place. At far left is Bobby Washington of Alpha Sound Recording Studio, who provided the winner with a three-hour recording session. Next to him is Joshua Rogers of the Sallisaw Performing Arts Center and Joshua Rogers Ministries. Far right is Sallisaw Chamber of Commerce President Trey Girdner.

Old Sallisaw High School also hosted vendors and information booths.

Frank-N-Stein BBQ won first place in the Finger Lickin’ BBQ contest at Diamond Daze.

The second place winners of the BBQ Cook-off competition were Whiskey Bent BBQ.

Third place winners of the BBQ Cook-off competition were Harry Robinson from Sallisaw. Harry Robinson also won the People’s Choice Award and the Get Sauced Award.

Cuz’s BBQ won fourth place in the BBQ Finger Lickin’ contest.
