Christina Aguilera on her new music and mentoring young talent for the SweeTARTS competition – 97.9 WRMF

In July, Christina aguilera has partnered with SweeTARTS to invite fans to create original beats using Candy’s online “music mixer”. The winner, handpicked by Christina, received one-on-one advice from the singer as he transformed his beat into a finished track in a real recording studio. Christina says being able to mentor unknown talents gave her “a big smile” on her face.

“I love that I can be in that position and do this for people, and I’m so glad I did, because I got to have our session with Augusta Sani, the winner of the contest. And he was only 15 years old and he had never had any recording studio experience or tried anything like that before, ”Christina told ABC Audio.

“It was so cute, we had to plan our call… around her school schedule and her family dinners,” she laughs. “So it was nice and cool for me to have this experience with someone so young… it was really great. I left with a big smile on my face.

Another thing that makes Christina happy these days is her new music: She’s working on a Spanish album project and says that part of it is “coming out very, very soon” – not just this fall, but in the coming fall. -of the.

“There was so much material that we’re going to be releasing it throughout the next year, in six song increments every few months,” she explains.

“I’m really excited to release this music in a different way,” Christina adds, saying the new songs and videos tell “the whole story and take you on this amazing journey…[it’s] my labor of love for a part of me and a part of my culture which is so important, which is not always highlighted in my English music.
