Idols will be joined on stage by longtime collaborator, guitarist and co-author Steve Stevens, Stephen McGrath (bass), Billy Morrison (guitar), Paul Trudeau (keyboards) and Erik Eldenius (drums).

“I can’t wait to get back on the road in the UK,” says Idol, “and enjoy that exhilaration and energy that only comes from performing in front of a live UK audience.”

The Roadside Tour 2022 will stop at:

11 June Glasgow The SSE Hydro

Support comes from special guests The Go-Go’s, making their first appearance in the UK in 26 years.

“We are excited to share the stage with Billy Idol on his summer UK tour dates in 2022,” they say. “We haven’t had the opportunity to play for our UK fans in 26 years and we can’t wait to see you all.”

Tickets for the Roadside Tour are on sale from 9 a.m. on September 30.

The EP Roadside was produced by Butch Walker, who previously worked with Green Day, Fall Out Boy, and Weezer. It is released through Dark Horse Records, the label created by former Beatle George Harrison in 1974 after Apple Records closed. The label is now run by Harrison’s son Dhani and music industry veteran David Zonshine.

“I couldn’t be happier to welcome Billy Idol to the Dark Horse Records family,” said Harrison. “Billy is a legend and his music couldn’t match the character of Dark Horse better. I have loved his music all my life, so being able to give this new music a home on our historic label is a huge honor.”

Other Dark Horse artists include George Harrison himself, former Clash man Joe Strummer and Ravi Shankar.
