BBC is looking for Scottish contestants to compete in a new ‘treacherous’ game show

A brand new BBC reality competition series is looking for Scottish contestants to play games of trust and deception.

Traitors will be filmed in the Scottish Highlands and will see teams attempt to take down ‘loyal’ competitors as they team up to complete a series of missions to win big jackpots at the end.

As described on the BBC’s website for interested applicants: “The Traitors is a new reality competition series based on strategy and suspicion, filmed in the Scottish Highlands.

The Treaters is looking for Scottish competitors

“A team of players will compete in a series of missions, the more missions they win, the bigger the prize pool.

“However, among the players are the ‘traitors’. The traitors will meet in secret and decide who to eliminate from their fellow players known as the ‘faithful’. The purpose of the traitors is to remain undetected until the game over.

“While trying to avoid being eliminated, the Faithful must find out who a Traitor is and vote them out so they can take the prize money for themselves.

“If a traitor comes at the end, he has a chance to win the prize money. Throughout the season, there will be twists, turns and surprises for the players.

“A game of trust and betrayal…do you have what it takes to play?” »
